The safari takes you to three Parks; Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth and Kibale. You will not regret it!


Day 1: Kampala – Lake Mburo

  • After an early morning breakfast, leave your hotel in Kampala and head for Western Uganda
  • En route, you will find a local community popular for making local drums and crafts and a fruit market. Stop over, admire and buy yourselves souvenirs. Proceed for the equator line and take photographs
  • Have your lunch at Igongo cultural Centre.
  • Take an educative tour of Igongo cultural Centre and learn about the history and culture of the tribes of Western Uganda
  • Theafter drive to the Park and take a boat cruise on the Lake. View variety of birds notably the rare shoebill stock
  • Return to hotel, dine and overnight at Lake Mburo.

Day 2: Lake Mburo – Mweya Safari Lodge

  • Wake up very early for an early morning game drive
  • Return to your hotel for breakfast
  • Thereafter, leave Lake Mburo and head for Queen Elizabeth
  • Arrive Mweya in time for lunch
  • In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on Kazinga channel: watch birds, animals take photographs
  • There is a large population of hippos and one of the biggest concentration of hippos in Africa
  • In the evening, relax at the Mweya peninsula as you marvel at the beauty of the park

Day 3: Mweya – Kibale Primate Lodge

  • You will wake up very early and take an early morning game drive
  • Return to Mweya for breakfast
  • Thereafter, take a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel for more game and bird viewing
  • You return to Mweya for lunch
  • Thereafter, depart from QENP and head for Kibale NP
  • Enjoy the views of the mountains of the moon, Fort Portal town, the tea plantations
  • Primate watch as you continue to the Park 

Day 4: Kibale NP

  • After your early morning breakfast, head for the forest for chimp tracking
  • Do forest walk, watch birds and other varied species of monkeys
  • Gaze at this marvelous beauty of this thick multi canopy rain forest
  • Have a picnic lunch inside the forest
  • After lunch, head for Bigodi swamp sanctuary – a community managed eco-tourism site
  • You will be guided to the swamp and view several bird species, be on the lookout for the great blue turaco
  • You will also learn about efforts the neighboring community and the women have put in place to eradicate poverty. You may take this opportunity to donate to this cause.
  • In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Kibale NP

  • After your breakfast, set off from your hotel and set out to mingle and learn more about the Batoro kingdom and culture. You will have a full view of the King’s palace as you are told the history of the Kingdom
  • Do more community tour around Fort Portal neighborhoods and continue to Nyakasura area
  • Hill climb the famous hill which overlooks the Park and have a full view of the Park and its neighborhoods, the mountains of the moon, the crater lakes, the beautiful scenery is awesome
  • Relax and take photographs and have your picnic lunch on top of the hill
  • Thereafter, descend the hill and tour  the stalagmites ecotourism center – locally known as Mabere ga Nyinamwiru
  • You will be amazed at the cultural interpretation and understanding of these features
  • In the evening relax in Fort portal town. Lookout for restaurants that serve local foods and enjoy some of our local delicacies
  • Return to your hotel in the evening for the dinner and overnight

Day 6: Kibale – Kampala

  • Wake up at an appropriate time and have your breakfast
  • Park your bags and check out of the hotel and head for Kampala
  • As you move, you will be awed by the beautiful scenery of the green hills and mountains
  • You will have lunch en route
  • Arrive Kampala in the evening
