Tour/Safari Code: 

This safari combines game viewing, boat cruise and cultural exploration. It takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park and Igongo cultural center.


Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls

  • Early morning, depart your hotel for Murchison Falls National Park in North – western Uganda. This provides you a chance to go through the historical Luweero triangle
  • Stopover in Nakasongola for rhino tracking
  • Proceed to Masindi town for lunch at Masindi hotel
  • Drive to the park through the thick forest and enjoy the warm welcome gesture by the giggling bushbucks. Arrive in time to cross the Nile to Para lodge
  • You will dine and spend overnight at para lodge

Day 2: Murchison Falls

  • After an early breakfast, leave your hotel and head for a morning game drive in this marvelous savanna grassland. The morning game drive enables you view elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes and plenty of other animal and bird species. Have a picnic lunch on top of the falls as you enjoy the beauty of the falls and their environs.
  • Take a boat cruise from the bottom of the falls to Para as you bask in the sunset
  • Return to Para Lodge for overnight


Day 3: Murchison Falls – Queen Elizabeth NP

  • Wake up early and have your early breakfast,
  • Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Masindi and Hoima
  • Have your lunch en route
  • Proceed to Mweya for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth NP

  • Take an early morning game drive
  • Return to Mweya for breakfast
  • After breakfast, proceed  and pay a visit to Katwe salt Lake
  • Lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge
  • After lunch, take a boat cruise
  • Dine and spend the overnight at Mweya safari lodge

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth – Lake Mburo NP

  • After your early breakfast leave Mweya for Kyambura gorge for nature walk and chimps plus bird watching
  • Leave for Mbarara
  • You will enjoy the views of the Park, the mountains of the moon and the rift valley
  • The Bushenyi “green” hills covered with tea plantations are amazingly beautiful
  • Proceed to Mbarara and have your lunch at Igongo cultural center
  • After lunch, take an educative tour of Igongo cultural center / museum.  You will learn about the history and culture of people of Western Uganda
  • Thereafter, drive and head for Lake Mburo National Park. You may take a boat trip and watch birds such as the rare shoebill stock
  • Dinner and overnight at Lake Mburo NP

Day 6:  Lake Mburo – Kampala

  • Have an early breakfast
  • Wake up and head for the Park for an early morning game drive
  • Enjoy viewing varieties of game: zebras, elands, giraffes, elephants, Uganda kob and varied bird species
  • Return to the hotel for your lunch
  • Thereafter, leave the Park and head for Kampala and arrive in the evening
